This is not mine. To me, a grail has to remain a theoretical exercise. I do not believe I will ever own one of these but it is a horological highlight that I wanted to share just for the sake of sharing

I have seen a couple of the 5004 up close in person. The ones that I saw were both examples in gold ( rose as well as yellow). They were both very beautiful. Studying this picture makes me want to see one in steel ( or at least a white metal). I bet it is...

Similar changes have also been found on 5070G and 5970G. But the indices seem to remain unaffected in these cases.

Not always is this successful, of course... Same problem as with the 5550...
