Against the tide

 By: ID1972Sr : January 9th, 2020-05:58
After months of evaluations and thoughts, I finally pulled the trigger and.... SOLD my stainless steel 5712. It simply did not "speak to me" any more and was laying in the bank safe. I know it's a decision against the tide, but I have no regrets. I haven'...

You want something which is all about the tide?

You Are Correct!

If you are not wearing the watch and if owning it ceases to bring pleasure then it is right to β€œMove it On” . These things only have value as long as they serve to bring us pleasure in some form or another. For some people, the idea of a watch sitting in ...

Or this one πŸ˜‰

Bravo!

You own a watch for your own pleasure and not for the sake of other people or a trend you are not willing to follow. Best Thomas

Plus one [nt]

I did the same thing 😊

Sold 5726, 5800 and 5711 last year after holding on to these for few years. I am generally not a sport watch kind of person. Honestly don’t regret it a bit!! Consider myself to be old fashioned guy interested more in classic pieces.

I love my 5712!

Almost 4 years and going strong!

Very good decision.

We will be happy to learn what you are gonna buy instead. However, against the tide would be to sell the watch for retail ;-) All the best Reuven

I'd love a 5110 P... [nt]

If it is lack wrist time then good move.

 By: Bill : January 9th, 2020-11:23
Problem is that with all us crazy collectors if wrist time was the gauge the market would be flooded by our tide. But for those sensible collectors with control of their collection bravo the rest of us crazy guys we need eight arms and then some. Lol.

Not against the tide for me

 By: Stylophile : January 9th, 2020-11:51
My decision to sell was based on trimming down / downsizing and pieces not getting enough wrist time. I know I am in a distinct minority but nautilus has never been my favorite piece.

Hahahah crazy and cool

It looks like you sorted them by the colour of the face πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Ž

Too mad! [nt]
