beautiful watch with the best combination of complications available. I believe sometime we ask what others think to verify our choices or to verify value as others see it. I am buying the FP Journe Resonance gold bracelet with a silver dial and I’ve had lots of advice. I am very sensitive to gaudy, blingy and generally bad taste noveau riche things, and I can say with confidence that this is not. It is pure class.

The combination black and rose gold is always great.
You can always put it on a nice brown or black strap if want to put the bracelet on a side for a while. In general I find the 5270 a bit on the big side for me,but here the black dial makes it look smaller which is a good point, I like this one.
A little blingy
I have a 5146R with a leather band. I think that the 5270 is the quintessential Patek. Most of the perpetuals are shown with leather band to emphasize the face of the watch and the intricacies of the movements in my opinion. They are classic and timeless....

i like the looks of the 5270R a lot, better than the leather strap versions, R or P. however, it is a very shiny piece and wearability might be restricted in most places of the world.
