Who knows....I have nothing official yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the /1A version on the run-out list at some point, given it's already been in the catalog for 7 long years...;-) Cheers.

While Patek is somewhat unpredictable, there are often discernible patterns. After 5980 1/R and 5711 1/R were introduced, the steel versions’ time became limited.

Will this happen, with 5990 1/A? Wouldn’t be surprised. As an owner of 5990 1/A I would not be disappointed to see it discontinued.
