I feel the 5170p is nicer and more unique looking. 5170g feels more like a Patek to me compared to this one

I associate a Chrono more with sports and the 5170 was too dressy. Never got a “coup de foudre” ...

Size is perfect, color combo is perfect, case is perfect, movement is perfect, what is not to like in this one ?

Somehow feels more pedestrian on the dial... and does not feel special like a 5070.

I have the 5170P which is really special, not many made and still at attractive prices, saying it is too dressy is like saying don’t wear a nice watch with a t-shirt and jeans...Jim ...

If I bought one I would probably switch out the strap. The contrast toned stitching makes it too sporty for me. I prefer a tone on tone stitched alligator. But a minor detail.
