This is R, I think J was never produced for the 5396. I bought this version (-011 dial) in 2011 and is one of only two 5396R that are still in the catalog, if you like it you might even eke out a small discount from your AD. [nt]

To me this is a timeless art deco style classic Gondolo. Simple (no complications) is better for a dress watch IMO. You can't do any better than this!!!
