Kicking myself for not having done this earlier. Called the Patek service center in Singapore yesterday, where they told me they had one piece in their inventory. Picked it up this morning, chuffed to bits! This message has been edited by sanzaw on 2016-0...

Just right on your wrist. Will also check our local boutique for that kind of link. Thanks & cheers. Geross

Removed 2 regular links on my 5990 with 1.5 and now fit is perfect. My 5711 strangely fit

s tighter than the 5990 and now fits perfect with a change of 1 regular link with the 1.5.

Feel comfortable is essential

It isn't a detail that I am looking at, especially where it is placed, and it is very important to make the watch fit better your wrist... Congratulations and thanks for posting, I think people don't think enough as a solution for comfort. Cheers, Mark

Most of us aren't aware of the 1.5 link as an official option from Patek...

I for one used to think it is an "after-market" option and was a little wary of resorting to it. I've seen a lot of people around me, either who like me, have a "choke" fit where it is fine during cooler days, but literally struggle on hot and humid days,...

Thanks for the info

I think this is something good for Patek to know in order people are more aware it exists. When I bought mine at the Parisian Salon (thus not an AD), they automaticaly included it to fit my wrist. It is part of the bracelet adjustment setting when you get...

Same boat myself but what an ugly and careless solution...

I mean for a company such as PP this is just unacceptable. It ruins the symmetry of an otherwise balanced and beautiful bracelet. Whats wrong with having two 1.25 links to balance it out. That would be a more aesthetically acceptable solution. Basic! For ...

This 1.5 link is very unsightly. My 15400 blue dial Royal Oak has the same issue. I bought the 1.5 link and hated the look, it really bothered me. So even though it fit slightly better, the ruined symmetry made me not like the watch. I disagree it’s in a

Inconspicuous location. Wen you have your hand on the steer wheel, it is like you are staring this unsightly 1.5 link in the eyes for a good amount of time of the day. So I took it off my royal oak and won’t buy one for the nautilus.

agree, but...

you can somewhat remedy that by having the link on 12 o clock side of the bracelet. Fair enough, still no symmetrical but you won't be starring at it daily.

It is a life changer

I had the one and a half link on all my 5711 A and R and also my AP 15205 R
