Enjoy the collection in whatever ways give you the most pleasure and satisfaction. I would love to own one -- and a 5127R would do just fine. For gold, do you prefer J or R, or does it depend on the watch?

Patek is the best but it is only a material object. There is a lot more to life than stuff. However, I am glad you are happy. Welcome to the forum AC3.

Sometimes I still think about the chance I missed on procuring a 5127G.

I own a 5127. I wear it. I like it. Is it the best modern Calatrava? Technically...probably not. Aesthetically...that’s a matter of personal taste. Do I fancy a 5227? Yes. Will I like a future Calatrava not yet made? Probably.
