Historically Unique

I think it is quite an interesting piece in that it has some relatively significant attributes:
1. Patek Regulator, that is rare.
2. Unique dial style and finish, seems rare compared to the rest of the line-up.
3. Special micro-rotor movement for just this watch. Rather than taking the other "base" movements and building the complication on top of them.
4. Hacking seconds.

Farewell 5235G

 By: Watches4ever : March 15th, 2019-02:54
Received a list a few days ago with many PP models out of production and within, noticed my 5235G on the list. Being an underrated Patek, not sure why people don't like it, could it be a regulator, too plain, I know - it's not a Nautilus. I have noticed a...

This one will be in demand going forward, IMO.

The uniqueness in the lineup, paired with the movement equals rarity.

the Nautilus case d be stunning ,actually I had a hope they make it but rather chose the PC.

It just didn’t sing to me. I can assure you that it’s not because it is not in a Nautilus case. I believe I couldn’t get around reading a Regulator watch so I pass, even though it is indeed a unique watch of Patek mold. With its discontinuance and hopeful...

i agree on your comments...

it is very unique in PP catalog today. it also have a specific movement in a very unusual frequency & the dial is sublime too. i like the watch very much - the only complaint i've on it is the date window location. Personally i would have preferred this w...

One of the modern Pateks I like the most.

Quick date change in 5235

 By: 11111 : March 15th, 2019-08:38
I would point out that there are subtle but definite differences between the annual calendar module on 5235 and that present in the 324 cal. of my 5146 and other current Calatrava and Nautilus annual calendar references. Notably, the date change in 5235 i...

I got mine delivered in January just a few days before it was announced as discontinued! I travelled to get it a few weeks ago. It’s a sight for soar eyes. How it wears, the dimensions, how it sits on my wrist. The regulator is really special. The finishi...

Friends who claim to be into PP and only care for Nautilus or Aquanaut are not really into PP in my opinion. They are merely into those lineups. I think both of those you got are super special but I am quite into PP, sports ref or not both past and presen...
