the Breguet numerals and the vintage silhouette of the case just made the watch that much better but stunning watches of both nonetheless!

Having both is the way to go.

However, I prefer the functions on the Lange.

No bad choices here! My first Patek incoming for nearly two years.

But the enamel dial of the Patek is a killer!

As I said before 5370! I will say this, I think you are very smart to buy this watch now. There is nothing like this from patek (ever!). Enamel and pure splits seconds chrono. I have been seriously considering this watch since its release and now seeing w... 

I heard a rumour it may even be discontinued shortly......maybe greater experts here know more. In any case I think it is the best Patek release since the 5970/5070 era IMHO.

A lot more comfortable to wear as it is not ultra heavy and what a gorgeous enamel dial with raised Breguet 5370P is an exudes pure class! The movement is a bonus.

It's impossible to read the subdials I have to steer to PP....

I love the fact they have cleaned up the sub dials from previous Datograph Perpetuals but I cannot at a quick glance read the month and day of week but if I pause and concentrate of course I can. This is more I think a function of my worsening eyesight. I...

I've never handled these beasts and I cannot choose one from the pictures, they are both stunning. Good that you could get both 😉 Congrats and enjoy then in the best health!

The dial of the Patek is more clean and has my preference. BUT look at that Lange and it’s movement (finishing). You are a lucky man being able to get them both. Enjoy!

the datograph family is legendary, pure and simple. There has been plenty of times I would choose a Lange over a Patek any day. However the 5370P is special, I don’t mean 5970P or double split special, I mean one day it will be as special as the 2499 spec... 

However the 5370P has one killer detail - email (as advertised on the dial) Joking aside you have great taste!

but if i had to choose only 1, then the 5370 wins. mega congrats on these lovely duo! cheers

Both are heaven, but the Patek is more Purist. Congratulations

As for my pick, easy. 5370P is closest thing to a perfect watch for me. I love the Lange, but the dial is too busy and illegible.

But I would take the 5370P in a heart beat ! Best, Ahmed

This Patek is of grail caliber while the lange doesn't make much sense, more like a confusing cocktal. I would rather have a Turbograph :P

I appreciate all the nice comments. I indeed consider myself very fortunate to own some amazing watches of which these are two. As both are fresh to me I have not yet decided which I prefer yet but I go weak at the knees for Lange movements for sure. Enam... 

... but the thickness of the case of the dato and the not so nice lungs makes me prefer the 5370P which has it all. Both fantastic though. Enjoy wearing them

At THIS level... Patek is still Patek. I'd go Patek --easy, easy choice.
