For me personally the most attractive Nautilus!

I find the white dial very fresh and not so common (and therefore more interesting). And I appreciate the date wheel in the same white color as the dial.

Many congrats. You made a great decision!

Wear it with joy and in best health

Sorry, another Nautilus picture/post. And some musings.

It’s a special watch for me as it’s purchase represented an important life event. It also remains the only Patek in my collection, even though I’ve been thinking about some others for a long time. The 3970 has been on my radar for several years. For me, t...

Lovely 5711 white dial !

Please bring to our next GTG !

I was seriously smitten with the white 5711, to the point I put my name on the waiting list at two AD’s.

But Lady Luck didn’t favor me, because after almost three years of waiting Mr. Stern pulled the plug )) I will always admire this watch but I will never pay the premium the market commends. Maybe one day....

Thanks for your thoughts and for sharing a terrific piece...whose most important feature is, as you say, the meaning it carries for you personally. That's what it means to be a Patek! ;-)

I wish you the best in your WT search, at a reasonable price -- it doesn't get much better than a rare handcraft WT! ;-) Enjoy.

Indeed Fab.

If the WT is supposed to be it’ll find me. Honestly my willingness to consider the current reference is really just a price consideration. I do strongly prefer the previous case.

If you have a chance to get a 5231 from your AD, frankly I wouldn't hesitate a second. Its price is lower, though only at MSRP....

I believe on the secondary market the 5231 (at least for now) has a greater markup than the 5131 series (save of course the P version)... Good luck! ;-)

For me personally the most attractive Nautilus!

The most important part of this dial is not the dial, it’s what you said. The date wheel is the same colour.

This is 100x more pleasing to the eye, anyone’s eye. Thanks for chiming in.

100% same opinion!!

I have NEVER understood why even highest end watch manufacturers don’t pay attention to this feature. And it was almost always a reason for me not to buy a certain watch. Best Thomas

Stunning 5711

My favorite version of this ref.... do not have one but will say cheers with this recent photo ... ...

Now you are just egging me on !

An end game watch, but all know there is no such thing really.

I also prefer the white dial to the blue in this reference for exactly the same reasons as you stated...

the matching date wheel being the first and the cleanest sharp dial being the second. I really like the blue gradient dial as well but due to the non-matching date wheel, I tend to wear the white dial more. And it is also the reason I prefer the AP 15202S...
