Would you be able to determine it from that?

I got it a couple of weeks ago, but had time to install it Tuesday. Mat alligator navy blue with grey stitching. I like it and the watch sits much better as it’s a 20/18 strap. I was expecting the stitching to be a darker grey but still fine with it. What...

Thank you JK [nt]

Like the matte finish better than the original.

Thanks. Yes the original is a bit misplaced for a modern PP- more 1932 Patek style

The mat is a really nice and subtle contrast to the dial.

Congrats. Next time try J. Rousseau.

I have a drawer full of straps and after a trip to Paris I only buy from Rousseau. Now they have a store on Madison, NYC.

PP straps are made by CF [nt]

They actually have about five different vendors. The letter on the strap back

indicates which vendor the strap is from.

Nope, you need the letters on the other part of the strap.

Like CF for Camille Fournet. The D means that it is for a deployant buckle and E81 is the alpha code that tells the style, in this case 21x16 mm, deployant, padded 4.0 mm in material and color 100 which is dark chestnut shiny alligator with square scales....

One word...

No matter which strap you wear - it is one of the most brilliant watches Patek ever made.

Unfortunately they discontinued this reference in 2018.

You right it’s such an amazing watch

Most of the time it just looks like a black dial and the it smiles at you at the most unexpected times of an ordinary day. Like 7 am on a dark November day. Genius! ...

The fact that our straps are broader is the main reason why it sits better don’t you think? It’s just too unstable to have a 16mm fixture on the other side of such a hefty watch. I don’t think buckle or clasp makes any difference here.
