Congratulations Henry … absolutely agree with you that the world timer cloisonné enamel looks best with yellow gold, i think the enamel colours chosen pair better with a yellow gold case and also yellow gold wire is used to outline/separate the colours

The yellow enamel in Africa is great because it is bright and eye 👁 catching ! 👍 You now must get the G to complete the set ! 💪 The blue shoreline for each continent is indeed rare.

Thank you, Erik. On the contrary, I slightly prefer the case of 5131/ 5130 more than 5231/5230, as the old version has a smoother and more continuous contour. The one piece construction of crown guard is a nice feature too.
However, I do agree the cloisonné dial of 5231J is more refined than 5131J. After all, 5131J is the first cloisonné world map in the modern Patek reference, the experience of the enamelist perhaps was perhaps less than 5231J now.
