Looks big for a dress watch but not too big as long as you like em big. I would try on a 3940 before pulling the trigger on a 5140 though. More balanced dial and 1mm smaller.

I have no problem with larger watches, but I think you need to "decide" for yourself how it looks and feels -- and like for any other Patek, only purchase it if you are fully convinced! It is a real beauty and supremely elegant...no doubt about that! :-)

Just a bit on the large size for a dressy piece like this, but all that matters is how you feel about it, as it definitely doesn’t look odd or too disproportionate on your wrist.

acceptable. If you prefer the blue dial and the watch feels comfortable on your wrist, then you should seriously consider pulling the trigger. If you prefer a white dial, I would suggest considering the 3940 which might fit your wrist better and the date ... 

Given its platinum material and blue dial, I would say it’s just right!
