I'd choose my 5165.    It can go business (Soros wears this) or sport.   It's also light and comfortable.

Whats your choice for one pp to wear 100% of the time?

 By: kwantify : September 21st, 2011-03:45
Trying to get a pp before oct 1. Just wondering... If you had to pick one, just one everyday pp... Which and why? Sometimes Suits, but i am 90% of the time dressing casual (jeans) weekends, etc. I have mine in mind, just wonder if it's a common choice. Th...

5960P with the blue dial. The watch works with a suit and dressed down with jeans and loafers. I have a small collection of AP, Richard Mille and Patek, and the 5960 gets 10 x more compliments than all the other watches! Best, Richard

The 5960P is a tremendously versatile watch...

I think the 5960P is a fantastic watch for business formal and resort casual events... The gray dial variant is also very good because it looks good with a navy blue strap (when worn with jeans), the brown strap (when worn with khakis), and even a black s...

Must agree.

That's the one I would wear 24/7, no doubt about it. It's my grail. Love it.

In this case, I would also think about the 5960P, with some contenders

A superb watch, which I learnt to appreciate more and more, because I was very reluctant, at the beginning, with the annual calendar, but I can live with. I would just have preferred without the annual calendar. Other choices: A Nautlius, Chrono or 5711, ...

If you like the Nautilus collection,

I would choose either 5711 or 5712 in steel. Both of those watches are very stylish, slim and suitable for all kinds of occasions. For those 10% of time you are wearing the suit, buy also matching Nautilus cuff links. Nautilus 5711 is also a watch you can...

Excellent advice!

The 5711/1A and 5712/1A are both great watches that can be worn in a variety of situations! Great choice!

5712 or 5167

 By: le_chef : September 21st, 2011-11:24
Both are great watches. Slim enough to wear under cuffs but "rugged" enough to wear with jeans. The 5712 is a bit more complex vs the 5167. I also saw Thierry Stern at a dinner wearing a business suit and a 5167 so it passes the smart test. Wearing mine t...

5035 or 3970...

Was a 5035RG for many years, works with virtually everything except bathing suit. Nowadays the 3970 fills the bill.

If you like chronographs ,

and being a casual dressed man, you should enjoy wearing a Nautilus 5980 .

5712 SS - worn everyday, worn everywhere

Looks good in a suit, looks good in tees. Girls love it, women dig it. It's a sign of wealth, it's a sign of stealth. Just make sure you trim your wrist hair. Best, Horo

hororgasm , ive heard these bracelets are prone

to pulling your hairs , is it uncomfortably frequent?? regards darma

Yes it can be

 By: Hororgasm : September 22nd, 2011-01:30
I am personally not much into bracelet in the first place, but in my own experience, the AP RO and Rolex bracelets, which are the only ones that I have experience and still wear, doesn't cause hairs to be pulled. But then again, I may have mutant hairs. B...

I agree! Just wonderingif you considered the 5711 and if you did, why you picked the 5712?

EGO...in a nutshell!!

Got a few peers wearing same watch, so felt the need to move on, shame to say, when I was once upon a time a immature collector. Actually I am back to a 5711, but in WG. I just can't stand the bracelet anymore....and my wrist hair curl and scream in terro...

Smart or sporty?

 By: Kevin22 : September 22nd, 2011-08:47
I just bought the blue dial 5960P and I must say I love it! If you like the modern, not too serious but smart look, this watch is great. If you prefer a sportier look, I would suggest the 5980 or 5712 which are great every day watches. For a twist, also t...

my personal choice would be the nautilus range in ss....

I wear a 3960 daily, dressed up or down but still find myself changing things up. While I appreciate some of the newer designs, many just are a little too large and fussy and I find myself wanting to change more frequently, so I find myself gravitating to...

thanks for the input

Thanks very much to all of you for the input. Someday, I'll probably end up owning a few watches to put in a rotation. But for now I'm looking for 1 watch to wear everyday... I was trying to decide between the 5107, 5127 (both classic, clean), 5711, and 5...

I would strongly suggest nautilus

 By: Mineral : September 26th, 2011-06:56
My patek journey started with calatrava but end up I love the nautilus the most. I like the GG design and you must see them in flesh to appreciate them.

that would be my 5980 [nt]
