And all can be enjoyed differently. I love them all, but I love my 5712 since it was one of the first Pateks to draw me in. Really is a classic piece that to me has no real comp, vs 3700 will be compared to original Jumbos, and 5980 will be compared to a lot of other sporty chronos...

thicker than a Nautilus should be,the 3700 is iconic just had a piece in my hand about a week ago TBH i haven t felt the instant get.I think the 5712 is still the winner .

The 5712
5712 is a very unique watch because it is thin, the dial is deep blue, and importantly it has one of the only asymmetrical dials that work. Not so many examples across brands, another example is the JLC master ultra thin with RM.

AHA! You're right! I'm wrong! James Bond can't go swimming with the 5712! It's only 60M water resistant! All the other Nautilus models are 120M water resistant!
And you need a minimum of 100M of water resistance to go swimming.

I regret selling my 5172a but i didn't lose money only gained a little.

There were several factors in my decision: Funding the 5070G which was a chrono I really wanted to own, but also the fact that I have another moon phase which I find more interesting...
