The 3939G is sublime and arguably the complete watch with a minute repeater and tourbillon. I will be happy with the 5078G.

......i find it exaggeratedly baroque, hard to read, much too expensive and not very desirable. just colorful, if that is a compliment. in the new 5231J they at least got rid of this ugly font they are using on the 5131 series. i understand that the lacqu... 

This is around $125k with full bracelet. I had no problem reading it and another correction is that this is enamel and not lacquer. Completely different levels of artisanal handicraft. Also not sure how a rendition of a map can be classified as baroque bu... 

sorry, of course enamel. more difficult to paint surely but similar desirability for me. i do prefer real art on my walls, which should be controversial and not necessarily pleasing to look at. but as you said, tastes are different. btw, a friend of mine ...
