A stainless steel strap on a white gold watch, would ruin the elegance of the watch. To put it bluntly. It will look cheap. My opinion. 😊

Best to leave it with the leather strap it goes with it. Just a suggestion. If you want a metal strap go with the white gold. Same as the watch case.

Geross.

To be honest, I would even be reluctant to put a WG Patek on an aftermarket WG bracelet, unless this was of the *exact same* color and quality...

As for a classy, WG Patek on an aftermarket steel bracelet...my pretty definitive β€œopinion” is...please just don’t!πŸ™πŸ˜‰ Hope this helps.

Appreciate the thoughts and to be honest I wasn’t expecting the response to be that it will work well but thought it would be worth getting the opinions of others as well before discarding the idea I will have to consider whether the ability of being able...

Steel is harder than gold
