This forum agreed that the regular influx of poor photographs of clearly counterfeit watches posted by first-time posters should be given no oxygen whatsoever. The clear intent of those trolls was to get expert advice on how to improve their efforts. Even now, some members here forget that agreement and ‘feed the trolls’. If you and your mother and your Patek are not of that tribe, then you are owed an unreserved apology.

Sadly, experience (and that watch) would suggest otherwise. It is illuminating that a qualified IT engineer could not have come to a conclusion about that Frankenwatch independently.

It is indeed a fake.
It's not even a counterfeit of an actual model that has ever existed.
Not bad looking but it has no Patek DNA.
The makers created a completely new model, that looks more like a Chopard than a PP. GEO
Even to an untrained eye, the shoddy dial should have been a dead giveaway
No gemstones are ever set that way..It's a glue on job and a very bad one at that . Sorry !

...but just to be sure, we should take a look at the movement and count the interior angles : )

I mostly like Chopard watches. Great movements. Don't always like the dials, some dials look a bit mis-proportioned to me. Numerals too bold sometimes. But great movements. I'd wear that 1860 Chopard. It's a little small for me, but I still like it!

As some remarked, I asked She to test it and yes, inside body (idk how to call it) , rotating freely. (i.e. 12 is not at north). But there is a small blue fixer, see the updated photos pls..I am far away from home otherwise I would take some macro photos ...
regardless it is fake or not.
perhaps it belongs to someone in your family thus priceless and filled with family moments. keep it
perhaps it is no longer suitable for daily use due to its age
just get something new and fun for your daily use

Your mother may not be able to take great photographs, but she sure knows how to take a watch apart to straighten the dial! With just a little more guidance from this forum, she will make a great counterfeiter! Cheers, pplater.

She didn't take watch apart. From the feedbacks here she shaked the watch and see its moving..Even if I asked her to open and take a look inside the back cover, She couldn't trust herself, and didnt opened is an old woman..I dont how is in your family bu...
