In my books, the best perpetual calendar ever - perfect size, the movement fills up the case back better than the 5970 and 5270. The only set back is possibly a little too thick, but hey, I would have one any day!!

I never thought I would be able to get this watch. It fits my wrist great, the thickness is fine. Also, if she wants it, my daughter can have it when I'm old and grey.

I have a question. How do you think The 3970 watch will fit a 7 inch wrist or 17.5 cm wrist? I have tried on the 36 mm 3940 PC and it seems slightly small. Does the 36 mm 3970 wear bigger ? Thanks very much. CB

I like it a lot. It’s much more affordable than 5970 and I think the movement proportion to case is better.
