5327 for me, it is more of a classic, and the successor to the mythical 3940. You will never get tired with its timeless charm and style. The 5320 is much more modern, and the lume, the salmon dial etc. you might end-up getting tired with it though.

Almost same retail price , perpetual calendar function. Which do you prefer? Salmon dial 5320G or Breguet number 5327G? Your opinion or feedback, insight is highly appreciated! I need help to decide which 🙏🙏🙏 ...

Salmon is trendy

 By: Henke : September 7th, 2022-18:05
But I don't like the lume. I think a lot of the charm of the usual platinum patek salmon dials come from the blackened numerals/hands. Also, I feel the micro-rotor is a cut above the full rotor. However, the aperture style is neater.

For me the classic with the Breguet

numerals. Salmon is trendy. I don’t care for syringe hands and the lume makes the watch much more casual than the other stately and timeless classic.

For me 5327 not even close

The numerals, the colors of dial, the hands, no open apertures or holes in dial. Not even close IMO But... ask my wife, my opinion doesn't matter 🤪

5327 is my pick until PP matches date windows / etc to the main dial.

A 5320 with modified sub-dials to match the main dial 👍

In The Very Long Haul…

I think you will get more “Utility” from the watch with the cream-colored dial. The 5320 with a salmon dial is going to get pretty hard on the eyes after a while. I prefer the 5320 in its original form with the cream dial. The classic cream- dial is going...

5327…

…but the numerals are a ‘trick’ to hide the small movement in a larger case. It doesn’t look as balanced as a 3940.

Agreed

 By: blau : September 7th, 2022-21:37
But you've got to admit: Patek pulls off the trick really really well here

Not in my mind...

Definetely

5320G for me here… something special about this particular iteration of this reference.

5327G All. Darn. Day.

5320 with the cream dial of the first iteration

this more copper-like dial does not sound to me at all

Really depends on what role it plays in your collection

 By: EinPa : September 8th, 2022-11:13
Relative to what you have. If it were me, I’d choose based on how different the new watch would be from the others I have and what occasions I’d see myself wearing it in. Also as It’s PP you have to ask your kids LOL

5320G + 1 more

 By: Moka-Tiger (Ron) : September 8th, 2022-12:40
I like watches that have flair, boldness, and a little oddity, and that PP salmon dial 5320G wins hands down. It's beautiful. While the white dial is also a beauty, without question, there are lots of white dials. The intersting design and color of that s...

Both great watches! But they are so different in style. What's your style? What does the opinion of others matter?

 By: Watchlover42 : September 8th, 2022-14:03
My choice was the 5320G with cream dial as it fits much better to my personality. I feel more comfortable by wearing this watch instead of the more classic 5140 or 5327. But for me it needs to be the cream dial. Salmon doesn't do it for me. Another reason...

5320-G

 By: chris7509 : September 8th, 2022-14:18
But the initial cream dial hands down ! If you allow me, i would even go further and say that i would not choose any of those two watches in their current "setup". Salmon dial on the 5320 is not really salmon when comparing to P ones, and the 5327 is lack...

My choice would be

5327G. The absence of the day and month opening at that strange place. The 5327G looks it is made for millennia.

Thank you all so much!

I really appreciate your sincere and straightforward comments and it helps me a great deal to consider new PP acquisition . Once again thanx from the bottom of my heart.

I prefer the 5230G BUT

with the cream dial (not the new salmon iteration). And I would like to see the date wheels in dial color. Best Thomas

Neither..

 By: yming : September 11th, 2022-04:19
5320 has 2 “moles” which messes up the dial.. the 5327 has squeezed dates - 5.27.29 which really bothers me + no running seconds.. Just my opinion

5320G

Not a fan of the 5327G. I would opt rather for a 5140 if you like the 240Q movement. A good buy at the moment.
