On my new 5270 when I wind the crown each morning, how many turns are appropriate to ensure one would enjoy the full benefit of the 65 hour power reserve?

If you wind it every morning you will never have / need 65 hours power reserve as you will only use 24. As to how many times, the answer is “til it stops” then let it come back a half turn. Patek says, “We recommend that you wind your watch daily at about...

if you wind slowly, you will feel tension building, then ,wind back a few turns. be careful.

As with all watches, winding becomes harder as the spring tension increases but you will hit a hard stop which is the full wind. I call it "kick back" which is a made up term by me, but the tendency for the crown to turn/spin back will increase as tension...
