PP 6007A-001 says hello.

 By: Pretty Boy : June 17th, 2020-23:23
A limited edition of 1,000 pieces to celebrate Patek’s new manufacture. A home run for Patek, IMO. More infos on Patek’s official website (where photo is taken from). Best, V. ...

Price will be 200-250% when most ppl could get

 By: 中野れい : June 17th, 2020-23:35
a chance to buy one Lucky 1000 Vip's!

Agree!

 By: 中野れい : June 18th, 2020-05:10
Those looking to flip will buy and sell quickly thus price will go higher and higher

Hi Fab, Given the commemorative event, IMO 1,000 is a reasonable number vs other recent limited editions. For example, the ...

New York Grand Exhibition offered 600 pieces of 5522 just for the US market. With the 6007 for the global market, this 1,000 run seems not agressive. The 5522, in a steel case with an "affordable price point", flew out the door and, after around 3 years, ...

No doubt about it, other LEs were presented in *very* high numbers..also think of the 2014 ref. 5575, still one of the most beloved WTs by collectors...

I’m pretty sure this piece will also command a high premium going forward, from what I understand demand is already through the roof everywhere. Hopefully, all regional bosses will do their homework and the 6007 will be sold to the right people to start w...

Not necessarily -- it's impossible to entirely control speculation with such a large production, but approving customers (which doesn't happen for a 5711) can definitely decrease it significantly.

 By: FabR : June 19th, 2020-06:16
Each name will be considered individually for this LE, and here the regional bosses will need to do a good job, even if it's admittedly difficult for a number of reasons (and I have no doubt most of them will succeed). You always get first time "flippers"...

I like it. Finally a 40mm Calatrava! I wish my 5296 was that size. This 6007 looks a bit like a mix between a JLC Memovox and a late 2000s IWC Spitfire, but hey...

...I like both of these, so I definitely like this 6007. I also like how the date window is placed! ...

I like the watch,but...

...I do not see a lot of PP DNA.

Thanks Volker for breaking the news! I can’t sleep for a few hours that at 5am Patek has already posted online😂👍

A beautiful LE edition in steel to kick off the 2020 novelties that I bet will be a success. One more detail that I’m not sure I have seen yet is the (not too friendly, but not egregious) price: Euros 26,149 if you buy in Europe, or USD28,351. Cheers🥂 ...

haha... [nt]

I really like its modern and fresh look.

 By: Pretty Boy : June 18th, 2020-05:26
Add a steel case, blue dial and strap, LE and you surely have a winner.

Interesting watch but...

 By: BigFatPauli : June 18th, 2020-03:42
It really does have the worst case of radial flip I've seen in a long time.

😂😂😝

The watch sells over retail and there is a chance that you can’t get one.

We can talk about the watch all you want

And I quite like it on first sight. But don’t go calling a 1000 run a limited edition. Produce 1000 and don’t call it anything. Come on Patek... R

A number of Patek's Limited edition have been 1300 pieces. 5575G + 5976/1G to name 2.

 By: russell996 : June 18th, 2020-08:53
1000 is very low for a steel production run, probably less than 6 months worth of 5711 production.

5975 was more if u count all the metals [nt]

 By: Patekphilippecollector : June 18th, 2020-19:34

Official figure for 5975 was 1300 as well. (400 each in J, R, G and 100 in P).

 By: DOCSF : June 18th, 2020-21:33
Official figure for Pagoda 5500 made in 1997 to mark the inauguration of new manufacturing centre was 2000 (1100 in J, 500 in R, 250 in G and 150 in P). I think 1000 pieces is a huge number for a limited steel production. I can't recall Patek producing su...

Hi Gordon, 1000 pieces for the current global market is not aggressive at all.

 By: DOCSF : June 19th, 2020-05:06
Especially when comparing to the 2000 pieces Pagoda 5500 made in 1997 to mark the inauguration of new manufacturing centre and in 1997 the annual production was significantly low compared to current annual production. What I meant was 1000 pieces in steel...

Trying to please everyone is not a solution

Other “limited editions” that you mentioned also have a huge run - for PP standards - in my book. It’s not necessary to call it a limited edition, just do what you plan to do without calling it a LE. Cheers!

Hi V, this watch is an interesting derivative of the 6000 ! IMO, this reference will sell out with huge oversubscription because it...

is made of steel, has a blue dial which fits the "recent" trend, and price point is relative "affordable". Hope to see your wrist shots soon !

Hi Gordon, I indeed placed an order but I’m not very hopeful.

 By: Pretty Boy : June 18th, 2020-11:18
I switched ADs and will get my first watch from the new AD beginning of July. Since this isn’t an application watch, it’s only the purchase history with the AD that counts.

Hi V, Oh wow, I see ! Best of luck with the 6007 then ! Can you ...

 By: GLau : June 18th, 2020-11:33
revert to your original AD just for this reference (sort of a "one for the road") ?

I would say yes and no...A given AD obviously has to agree to put your name forward, but if this happens, then it's also up to the regional heads to decide (and they can see your entire buying history).

 By: FabR : June 18th, 2020-19:39
Switching countries in Europe, if this is the case, might be more problematic with this watch, to be honest. But perhaps I know who's your "new" AD (?), in which case they will get a few extra pieces of this model, hence chances could be a bit higher...;-...

My new AD is just around the corner. They are not in Milan. 😉

 By: Pretty Boy : June 18th, 2020-23:23
The reason why I will get the other piece from them (you know which one) is because I told them in our first personal meeting to call Patek Germany to make my case. It obviously worked because they know my entire buying history and I have met these great ...
