While we are waiting for The Mad Druid's unveiling of his newest treasure, I thought I would post a few PF "grails" from the archives.

Starting with the early Toric lineup.

This Toric Minute Repeater in platinum would actually be a practical travel watch with discreet pointer date and second time display.
This neo-vintage Toric chronographs belonging to our community member and overall fine gentleman, mrds, really rocks my boat.

I like the "javelin" hands on these older Toric pieces.
It uses an El Primero movement finished to Parmigiani standards as seen in the photo below from Mr Watchley.
In its early years, Parmigiani also sold a limited number of Toric rattrapante chronographs with Venus 179 movements. Photos from Artle.
It is no secret that I love the Kalpa XL watch and have a couple of "grails" in that lineup.

Both of the above Kalpa XL tourbillon watches are rare birds.
My experience with these watches is they wear like a charm (as an aside, the "XL" designation is a little misleading; the watches are large but not supersized like the XL name implies). Anyway, I can only imagine the glorious heft of these platinum cased Kalpas on the wrist.
That completes my diversion before the main event of the Madman's unveiling
Thank you for looking.
