Patrick’s post about watch accuracy and short duration testing leads to me to this:
The Toric PS is supposed to have a 60 hour power reserve. I tested that this week and found my watch meets this promise-in fact it ran for over 63 hours. My mission was accomplished.
I also noticed that the watch was very accurate, and consistent: it lost 3 seconds over the 63 hours and, just from observation and machine testing, it showed no discernible variations in rate.
This was a 60 hour test-that’s all. But since the Toric is a manual wind watch it should keep its accuracy and rate consistently. I think.
Enjoy your Tursday.
