Thanks Foversta and MTF! I've just returned from the workshop after having worked on new dials with Johan's wildflower damascus steel pattern. Horological Meandering: Staib mesh

Hi AndrewD, We do not make the mesh strap ourselves. We checked a number of suppliers and decided to use Staib (made in Pforzheim, Germany). It is by no means the most expensive strap but I totally agree with you on the quality. Best regards Patrik Sjögren

for saying that the gold movement is "better" than the brass movement other than the fact that -- it's gold! I think FPJ's rationale for using gold, unless I've missed something, is an aesthetic one. I have FPJs with both, so I'm agnostic about it. I do find the gold movements to be quite amazingly
