A. Lange & Söhne: We better get used to it

Lange is doing everything they can to force people to shop at their boutiques rather than ADs. Once at the boutique, it's pay to play. You buy one regular model, you can buy one LE. Next LE you want, you need to buy another regular model first. Certain regular models don't qualify for certain LEs. F

A. Lange & Söhne: A nice problem to have!

These are both great watches. In isolation I would pick the 1815 first because I think that chronograph movement is even more iconic Lange than the Zeitwerk. Considering the rest of your collection though I'd go for the Zeitwerk for sure, and maybe a Datograph instead of the 1815 later! Another poin

A. Lange & Söhne: Seems not

I examined one of these in the boutique and there are no exposed springbars on the bottom. Not sure if there's some hidden way to do it though.
