Cartier: Yes ...

That was me but no I didn’t get it from there, it’s not my style so I decided to sell it anyways hahaha (I am not a very patient person haha). After some of the responses here I decided to be inclined that it wasn’t a fake, but like I said it’s not really my style (I like JLC also) so decided someon

Cartier: Hmm ...

So it may be a fake ? I think it’s only worth a couple of hundred dollars so I would be inclined to think it wouldn’t be worth faking, unless it was faked back in the 70’s or 80’s ...

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Pics of the movement ...

The one on the top mechanism is 240 / 3, the one on the bottom 245 / 1. The last photo has the only other number found, which is 103. The words stamped read Sw

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Based on your scan, I did a little more digging ...

And I found this one here: # And this one here: also were guesstimated to be circa 1970, have stamping in number close to my friend's (529 / 531), and look even more similar than the one in the ad. I'm also waiting on pics of the movement on my friend's to be sent to me, so that I can post them.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Okay in reading the scan provided by Blomman ...

I see the one clock that is so similar, has a dial made from "Ambrolithe". In further looking online, it appears this is a type of plastic, used in place of amber in post WW2 jewelry (amongst other things). Apparently it can have glittery specks within it ... all of which mine has. The one clock sho
