Correct me if I am wrong. THE 317 like the 292 is not a SE. 339 is. It was never in the SE section to being with... You can find it under current edition so it couldn't possibly have been stopped... it's current run of mill production 2008-current.

Is the 335's smoke glass a shortcut to the original PVD coated movement. If 317 is a one off deal, then the next 317 will also feature smoked glass. For those owners of 317, is the movement problematic like the original 233 batch 1? For current owners, is 317 worth the money or is it too overhyped?
