Breguet 5907: 510 vs 511

Hi all I’ve been reading up on a few watches that have caught my eye, one of which is the Breguet 5907. As understand it the 5907 was made with two movements: originally it came with the Cal. 510 and later with the Cal. 511. The main differences between t

Scored myself a 3137 today.

Surprised myself with a successful low-ball bid this morning. Sadly, I'm going to have to part with my 5907 now, but the Roth-designed 3137, with its complex guilloché and insane decorated movement, was too beguiling to resist. 😳

A benchmark for dress watches

Slim, time only, not too big, and (deceptively) simple. Here's a hand-wound cousin: The power reserve indicator tucked away on the backside of the 5907 is an extra bonus.

Breguet Ref. 5907BB/12/984 flies under the radar ...

I love to wear casual. So I'm happy that the 5907 is not only a watch for the Burgtheater, but also goes well with a Jeans jacket. Cheers, Haribo

What caliber is it based on, part 2.

How about the manual wind 5907? It's powered by a Breguet 510, but what is the base movement for that? Thanks again!

Classique 5907 vs 5920

the calibre 511 used in the newer(old model used 510-less jewelling) 5907 is the fp11.50 which is 11.5 lignes=25.6mm and re-engineered by breguet without the automatic winding and is fitted with the winding power reserve indicator fitted as the 'slip'type

Classique 5907 vs 5920

Hi all, I thought I would solicit some opinions from you on the relative merits and design of the Breguet Classique 5907 vs the 5920. Both are in the Classique range, both are 34mm or so in size, and both have small seconds at 6'oclock. Only physical diff

The 5967: maybe my fav entry level Breguet.

5907... My fav, size-wise and better proportioned dial to my taste. But movement looks nicer in 5967 To me, this is THE Breguet. 90 hour power reserve. Fits my wrist nicely Thank you, FX! Ken
