Overall, they are not anathema to English watchmaking! Perhaps idiosyncratic in today's market.

Oh, well this is the ultimate from L&H

The Albert mono pusher co-axial chronograph is still in my top three watches of all time. Sadly L&H has discontinued this epic model. So this lucky few who got one are fortunate to say the least. I’d stretch to the 44mm case if this was to show up😉 Sadly
