My
Centigraphe is finally back on the wrist after many months. The watch had to be sent back and serviced for two reasons. Firstly, the flying second hand would get stuck. Secondly, the 20 second sub-dial would not align properly when reset. I was informed that Journe made some modifications to correct both issues. I'm pleased to report that it's been running smoothly since.
The Centigraphe is comfortable on the wrist and a pleasure to wear. This is by far my favorite Journe watch to wear on the weekends. Traditional chronographs are soooo boring. After I engage the rocker the flying second hand whizzes around the dial 60 times while a regular chronograph makes only one
slow revolution (big yawn!).

The dial layout is bold and well-balanced. The rocker ultra cool. I noticed my rocker has a bit more play then I remember and has a slight rattle if I touch it gently. This is not a bother to me at all but others have mentioned they felt differently. The extra large crown winds easily with just the right amount of tension.

The humidity has picked up in Hong Kong. You can see I've put one of the new rubber lined straps which is particularly useful.
The gold movement is gorgeous. I like the numerous jewel sinks and large center barrel.

Please enjoy viewing the photos.
