My first foray into independent territory...

Friends,

After a delightful visit of the FP Journe manufacture in Geneva and a warm welcome at the boutique, I'm happy to welcome this into my collection:

Chronomètre Souverain Havana - Platinum

I apologise for the poor quality but I only have my phone with me. I will try to post higher quality photos and a small write up later.

In the mean time, I am super happy to join the FPJ community! A great start to 2020.

The CS joins this collection:

Fantastic!

I have my eye on that one also.

It looks great. Better than great, actually.

M4

It is very, very elegant and a delight to wear. [nt]

Congratulations to own the first FP Journe timepiece. Havana dial is less classic and more casual than the white dial. I have the red gold version.

Thanks Phoenix.

It's something different. This dial with these hands is a great match (I do love the red gold too).

Congratulations on the new purchase

Is the manufacture open to visits? I might be heading to Geneva in a few months

Thank you.

For visits, it was organised through a friend. I don't know if they do it regularly.

Huge congratulations

Very nice addition David. I think it is a strong addition to your collection that brings something new to the box.

I do want to sprinkle the collection with more independent pieces.

Congratulations on the acquisition. It’s a great addition to your superb collection. You have an excellent variety of brands and metals and styles. Bravo [nt]

I try to have a collection which is diverse but still within certain constraints of my taste.

Wow, congrats! Very nice addition to an excellent collection.

I am hoping to get an opportunity to visit the manufacture this spring if possible. I have been to a few other places the past years and I find it interesting to compare the production methods, see the machines, tools etc. and ask a lot of nerdy questions smile

Thanks a lot!

Do visit if you can, it's very nice manufacture.
