Sharing my Cartier ref 2413 just acquired

21 years old and in superb condition with box and papers I could not resist this, in spite of being quartz driven.  Love the understated dial excluding 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 from Cartier's characteristic Roman format.  The cream dial has a distinct profile framing the minutes track.  Within the track's rectangle are numerous miniature silver Cartier logo's, which just catch the light.  The date is unnecessary but for me is subtle enough to be acceptable at 3.  Calibre 687 movement.  A dress watch although suit-wearing has been off my agenda for quite a while and likely to continue!  If one must have a quartz, this is the one for me.

Very nice and uncluttered… Wasn’t familiar with this reference.

Congrats! A neat vintage acquisition, I like the even-numerals-only dial, and the date is indeed very naturally integrated into the, it looks much better as a Cartier than a Hublot, so I'm moving it to the Cartier forum! :-)

Thank you for the move. I could not work out how to rectify my mistake!

No problem👍🥂 PS: I don't believe you can delete or move a thread once it's been posted, but only edit its content within the first 30 minutes. Cheers.

I totally like it — quartz movement and all!
