 By: ChristianDK : January 22nd, 2021-09:28
I’m interested in the best titles to study Cartier? A quick google didn’t bring up much.
Vintage references especially.

Thank you so much!

the best book that i ever seen for the vintage collection (which i have a copy) is the limited edition -CARTIER-A CENTURY OF CARTIER WRISTWATCHES BY GEORGE GORDON it was printed in 1989 so may be hard to find.
antiquorum the auction house did an edition of the vintage cartier watches that they dealt with-WHITE CARTIER- BY OSVALDO PATRIZZI
both are a must for the vintage cartier collector
good hunting

Thank you so much, Sir :-)

Two books that I read a lot

 By: Geo : January 22nd, 2021-13:13
1) Le Temps de Cartier by Jader Baracca, Giampiero Negretti and Franco Nencini
English book mainly about watches, clocks. (320 pages)

2) Cartier White by Osvaldo Patrizzi
English, French, Italian book just about the white metal watches. (over 250 pages)

The exhibition books are in general really wonderful but they do contain usually
a lot of info about jewellery and much less about watches.

Thank you so much, Geo :-)

I know it's a catalogue book, but I quite enjoyed the selection and details.

It is a book with a lot of information and great pictures.
