It will be a great story to tell when I finally do purchase a Piaget.

As for your question... Well I was quite impressed by the Altiplano Ultra-Thin Skeleton, but I think that answer would be too easy...

If funds were not an issue then I think I would have to request a bespoke piece. My taste is very simple and I love ultra thin watches so it would have to be an Altiplano of some type.

I would request a watch with a very plain face but with more substantial hands than the current offerings, maybe dauphine similar to the ultra-thin skeleton. A 38-39mm case made of platinum, with some more curvy lugs (I'm thinking tear drop, but those might be too thick for such a thin case). It would also need a display back to show off a hand engraved movement with a mini rotor (cal 1200 maybe?).  A sober dial done in enamel (again, might add too much thickness).

It seems to me after typing my request out that I am asking an impossible task, so for now I think I will stick with the easy answer. I would get the Altiplano Skeleton Ultra-Thin. It's a perfect size for me and I love the finishing on it.

It is fun to dream though isn't it? And what about you, what would you choose for your first (or next) Piaget?

as my first Piaget.  I hope Piaget comes out with a "sporty" colored version of this moon watch in a white metal, preferably stainless steel!

Was not regarded by one of people at Piaget as being part of their DNA. He acknowledged they use titanium... but it seems precious metals are more dear to Piaget. But who knows!

Congratulations again, Chris, and thanks for taking us along on the tours. It’s wonderful to see behind the scenes and it gives you a great appreciation as to what goes into the watches, and what makes each manufacture special. I liked the QC area and the gem setting in the case really requires a steady hand and patience.

Cool tie clip. Matching cufflinks I hope?

Tourbillons, skeletonized pieces, you saw a lot of great watches. Perhaps you answered this with Anthony's question, but did you leave with a firm favourite?

It was my pleasure to prepare this report for you all and I am so happy that so many of you enjoyed it. Indeed, going behind the scenes really did give me a higher appreciation for what goes into this wonderful hobby of ours. It especially showed me a side of Piaget I was not aware of before... kudos to them.

Unfortunately I do not own any shirts that cufflinks would fit on, I'm just a simple button up guy for now.

Yes, like I said in my response to Anthony, I liked the ultra-thin skeleton Altiplano. Those tourbillons were nice, but too thick and too heavy for my liking. That fully integrated bracelet from the tradition line was also quite impressive but the watches weren't my style. My favourite that day was the skeletonized Altiplano.
