... aside from its beauty and my gratitude to you for uploading the fastest one which actually landed, I am again puzzled....

In Japan, this particular one is SBRX059, the same size, the same movement, and the same number of LE (2500).  And the price is quite similar, too.
Unlike the Hourou enamel version, the appearance/ design seems to be the same as well.

SARX059

Do you see any difference?

Seiko makes great watches and most are bang for the bucks.  I thought they stopped changing the ref number by the market (in Japan or outside Japan), but here we go again.  I really think they should stop that in order to be a truly global brand.  Just confuses the consumers/ collectors.  Nonetheless, this one is a great watch!  Soooo beautiful.

Thanks for sharing!

Ken

I couldn't spot the difference too.

And I was confused too when I collect the watch. Anyway, not significant to me whether JDM model or international model. It's a beautiful watch indeed.
SK

Congrats Keith. It's a beauty.

There is no difference. It's just Seiko's archaic way of dividing the marketplace. Really silly and inefficient IMO.

Ken, I agree, and I don't understand why they need to have different model numbers for Japan and the rest of the world.

It is an exclusive mentality that doesn't serve them well in a global market place. I wonder if this has to do with the warranty - Japan warranty in Japanese (one needs to have a residential address in Japan) vs International Warranty in English.
I was given the choice of warranty when purchasing my SBGV247 as I have a residential address in Tokyo. However, the "Japan domestic warranty" means that the watch cannot be send in for servicing through the local agent in my home country. And likewise, the international warranty means that i couldn't send the watch in for servicing in Japan - even though i travel to Japan like 5-6 times a year. Very archaic practice in this day and age.
Regards,
Ian

Yup, that I have been telling them, but.....

Between this and the previous blue enamel edition. Which one to go for? Is this version not the same as grand feu?

I love both dials.

It will be difficult to chose either one. I couldn’t capture the different blue for your comparision.

Congratulations on your great pair!

How does it compare to the previous enamel blue ?

This shippo dial has a very nice texture n layering to its dial colour

A little more cluttered but I guess the extra function and higher beat makes up for it?

But just a little dilemma now because of this...

A too similar twin???
