Seiko

Agreed! BTW a friend in high school had a Volkswagen Thing... doubt the plastic seats would go over well with the Kardashians. It was cool to be able to clean them with a garden hose. [nt]

Hahahaha... maybe that's a reason to drive an older car :-) Consider it a filter... [nt]

I saw it up close at Basel World last week. It's great.

I'm on the list (#2) at local AD. Here's a live pic

And one of the original, which they showed side by side.

This is awesome, thank you! [nt]

Hoping they get enough allotted

But the price is not so different compared to their high end divers...

Sure, one would get 80 or 90% of the watch for much less by choosing other models in their portfolio but the price is not that much unlike their other high end dive watches...

True

Personally, I would have been totally fine with them making it a production watch, like the turtle re release, and making it more affordable. Because it would make more sense for me to go buy a really nice vintage 62MAS for $1,000-$2,000. I understand that the re release is very high quality, but I would rather take that same money and buy the real one.

Fair point

And the choice still remains. However, diving with a vintage MAS is only for those with strong nerves, whereas there is no risk with the new one smile

Very true, but I don't dive haha. I just enjoy the watches for what they are. [nt]
