Where in Rome is the best place to get Cacio e Pepe?
I have eaten more than my fair share of Cacio e Pepe in Rome and have been to many different restaurants there. Who has a favorite? One of my very favorite restaurants in Rome is “Trattoria Ai Villini” near the Vatican. It’s nothing fancy, but is my favorite place for Trippa a’la Romana and Cacio e Pepe . Excellent artichokes also!
