A 10% discount on a SS Daytona, Is it a good deal!

I think it is. I went to my AD to purchase a VC Overseas Chronograph and they had 2 SS Black dial Daytonas and asked me whether I am interested. I never thought of purchasing a SS Daytona because I heard about it is hard to get and long waiting time. Moreover, no discount. Since I am a repeated and good customer(it is what the manager of my AD said), they would offer me a 10 % discount.
So in the end, I purchased both the VC Overseas chrono and the SS Daytona. I am very happy I think I am a person that is easily satisfied with discount, a 10% is a good deal and that showed me that they really appreciated my business.
Best regards,

there are so many SS Daytonas around, you could have asked for an even bigger discount. I often see 2008 and 2009 almost new Daytonas for -25% to - 30% the retail price. Truth be told, the El Primero movement was better.
Plus, even if you looked online (gray market dealers), you wouldn't find much of a discount. So as far as I'm concerned, 10% from an authorized dealer with whom you developed a good relationship, is something good..
if you like a new one, that's as good as you'll get. if you want to buy a preowned online, that's a different story. AD's rate customers as much as we rate them. This is as good as it gets
