It’s Rolex 4312 Celline King Midas purchased by my grand father from Swiss in 1985 and never wore it . It’s in its original box and has papers tags and back sticker . Although I loved my grad dad dearly but in watches I have my own distinctive taste . My temptation towards this was more on the collectible aspect of it . Is it a rare bird ? Unusual for it being complete and brand new ?

Pls advise !

I would get lots of professional opinions from watch traders if I was you

A quick search on the WWW gave me one on a leather band on Ebay for 5800 pounds sterling which was on a leather strap, so yours will have a higher value. Another one with box and papers with identical bracelet like yours was on same site for USD6950. Good luck. Be thorough with your deliberations.

Keep it...Rolex don't make these anymore, just like their calendar Padellone watches.

That being said, memory and sentimental value is hard to assess.

It depends on what you will do with it in future.

Thanks for the advise [nt]

I would say just keep it and forget about it for some years it will definitely appreciate with time. Just like other older models

I’m not sure how collectible it is as no one actually is giving a right advise . I meant the dealers [nt]
