What I don't know is that quick.... Bought a preowned Zenith El Primero several years ago because Daytona was unaffordable to me. While the Zenith is still one of my best loved chronograph , I just can't get away from the Daytona. And my resistance is completely futile after watching a video, by comparing both warches, concluding the premium in Daytona was well justified....... The rest of stories is quite trivial, researching, contacting a seller (who is a very nice guy with owns a shop full of vintage rolexes, and surprisingly within the walking distance from my home flat), making sure everythings ok. And here it comes: Daytona 16523 black dial, A series, with original box and papers





I cannot ask for a better condition of the same model

Though 16520 is still beyond my reach, I love TT Rolex and, the color of subdials in this Daytona version gives me a dream of the "Patrizzi dials"

I do not regret buying the Zenith though. If I have not bought it, the chance is that I will never buy and enjoy it, and on the other end probably do not appreciate the Daytona as much as now

Another perfect piece IMO is the Zenith DeLuca. Perfect blend of Submariner, Daytona and El Primero. It’s the best watch Rolex never made!
