I'm really hearing alot of different things from different sources, even official ones.
But as always with Panerai, you never know till you get one!

With the 8 Giorni Brevettato logo, the watch must have the Marina Militare script! If it doesn't have the Marina Militare Script it should say RADIOMIR PANERAI on two lines somewhat similar to the 203.
The 341 Egyptian has a clean "RADIOMIR" on one line and a "PANERAI" underneath that looks elegant and clean as well.
This message has been edited by patrick_y on 2010-10-11 18:16:42after all the hype they should, IMO, shelve the "emasculated" derivative of the 339 for a while and come back with all guns blazing, when they figure out something as innovative and glamorous as the 339 promised to be...
If not, I personally don't really care for the "emasculated" derivative enough to buy it, regardless of the price.

Why not substitute Marina Militare with Regina Marina ;-) now THAT would make a collector's piece for sure
Historically, both were never on dials....
