I acquired this beautiful instrument last week. Typically Panerai build quality... very stout. Wish I could afford the Panerai ship's chronometer... that piece looks amazing.

I do thoroughly enjoy the UN Chronometer. I have been lazy about sending it to the factory for service but will soon (it still needs a new seconds hand).
I would love to add the Panerai chronometer, but for 30k this Hygrometer / Thermometer will do just fine

The UN Choronmeter is a real beast, and a Must Have for any UN Lover...As we are.
The Panerai one let me perplex, because of its horizontal power Reserve indicator...and its price!
