Panerai: What I am thankful for…

 By: John-E-Mac : November 24th, 2022-11:32
1) ETA/Unitas 6497 movement.
2) Bettarini case.
3) 24mm Interchangeable Straps.
4) 300 meter WR.

What about Panerai are you thankful?

The PAM 372. Not limited, and a true Panerai for me.

The P3000 caliber isn’t bad either. 3 day PR, smooth winding manual, with a movement size that’s fit for a 47mm case! Essentially thankful that they didn’t f*ck this up :-p

Agreed on the fact the didn't f...ck it up. :))))

Hehe ;-)

That was a good but right one. ;)

The P3000 was my only trepidation. I am not an early adopter.

Add to the newness of the movement, Panerai had a ferocious program to design and release a broad variety movements in a short timeframe. Surely, something had to be missed or poorly executed.
But against the talk from my reptilian brain, I placed my money on the table. She’s been good to date. The smooth winding of the P3000 is sublime. Thanks!

Hehe i also have the PAM000 so I agree with all your points :-)

And no LE cheating, here.

Or the infamous OOR editions!

Among other things... :)

Nice thread. Simplicity and style. 232 for me is quintessential design on pair with Tank, Reverso or Oyster. You can't miss it.

Should have jumped on this one when I had the chance!

Still can! Plenty of mint examples with full B&P pop up.

PAM 372, 422, 662. Any reference with the P3000 movement and their 47mm case...

I have list interest to anything else, especially the newer release unfortunately

Yes. The variants with rear PR, faux bridges and skeletonization are fantastic.
