no perpetual calendar, no seconds counter, no coffee brewing buttons to be pushed, no chimes etc. If there's Nemo inside, you'll have to open and look, because in this model there is no "looking glass". An original Officine Panerai Pre-V (Ormil) strap, with a sewn in Panerai buckle, to strap it on the wrist with The PAM002 Pre-A was manufactured by "them Swiss" BUT (and it's a huge but, for me at least) with all ORIGINAL Italian "stock" components. Pre-V case and Pre-V dial, Pre-V indices etc. Easy to understand why the 002 it's one of my favourite PAMs.
Gorgeous. I'm always amazed at how different the Pre-A and Pre-V's are on the wrist from the outwardly similar modern versions. Maybe it's all psychological but I don't think so.
....much like Brelli, which was also a supplier of straps to the Officine Panerai, in the Pre-V period. Both, Brelli and Ormil are still very much active these days, in the manufacturing of watch straps.
