Theres no company who is able to replicate the look of my grandfathers desk clocks as good as GO. I see these clocks clearly in your picture, even though it is intended to replicate a marine chronometer. But who has an emotional bond to that type of watch? Almost nobody who is still alive wink Maybe im gonna buy a GO some day!

Thank you for this great comment honestly

I understand you and love your comment because i feel the same. I buy watches when they give me a feeling or an emotion such as the one you described. Something that can be hard to describe with words but is so strong like memories of loved ones and traditions. Wish you all the best for 2020 and for a new potential GO. Would love to know besides the chronometer which GO watches would appeal to you.

Thank you for your very kind words!

There was a time when i actually liked their seventies pieces. They are just as original as the Nautilus that looks quite similar. The tiny difference is just that their 70ies watch was made for the people in the GDR and i could understand if that is not quite as sexy as the offering from other 70s-watches that were sold to businessmen in Geneve or London. But i still think that this piece does not get nearly the credit it should get. I hear that it doesnt sell very good either.

But what i really like is the sixties with green (or even red) dial. It looks fantastic, its unique, has a great movement and the best part: it does not look like an ALS-copy (like their Panomatic).

I am going to look for your next posts about GO, as i pointed out, they do inspire me! Thank you for that.

Do you have a plan when it comes to your next GO?

Best, Reuven

I love all teh GO pieces you mentioned.
