Jim Gordon, drummer in the legendary Wrecking Crew and a “friend “ in Delaney and Bonnie and Friends before being plucked from that band by Eric Clapton for Derek and the Dominoes, has passed away.
He was a brilliant drummer who played for everyone who recorded in LA; but suffered from schizophrenia and actually spent the last 40 years in prison for murdering his mother during a psychotic episode.
