More money than sense?????

Here's something I'm guessing none of us can live without.  LV recently introduced
a $10,400 KITE,

If this $125k cocoon is out of stock, trust me that the Kite will also “fly off the shelves”...😉

Maybe they are in "limited numbers", that being 1 each.

Seems a bit much. Kites get lost frequently when flown.

What do you mean I'm not supposed to fly it?

I know, that's why you can buy 12 kites for the price of a cocoon..;-))

I don't like this kite, kites are supposed to be colorful and playful, this LV one is too dull. The Hermes scarf kite was more colorful...

Anyone see that Hermes kite made from scarves?  That was a nice kite!  I actually wouldn't mind getting that and hanging it on my wall.

Here's a picture of the Hermes kite. It comes in a big canvas pouch with leather edging where it rolls up in.

If it was $10K for this Hermes kite, that could be justifiable.  For $10K, this would be a nice painting on the wall.  And it's just cool.  Might not be a good kite though, if it tore in the wind, that'd be bad.  And grass stains upon landing, yikes...  Can you Scotchguard silk scarves?

Yeah, I could see this as a nice wall decoration. But I'd only be able to make sense of the price tag if the materials were really nice.

And I agree that the LV kite just doesn't look right lol. Maybe best to follow this guy's example and just DIY it if you really want one smile

Ouch! Now my YouTube account is going to suggest a whole bunch of weird videos!

I don't own any LV luggage actually.  Rimowa and Away are my go to luggage and I also use Hartmann and Tumi.  I'm actually quite pleased with my AWAY luggage, it looks like it's going to hold up well and the cost is phenomenally low.  Great value.  Here's a review of the Away Luggage I wrote:

Mine already suggests bunch of weird videos,

but we won't go there. smilesmile

Looks like nice luggage!

Probably need to get a new one for myself soon, so I'll definitely take a closer look

Definitely worth your look.

The Away's $290 large check in luggage and my Rimowa $1000 large check in luggage seem to have relatively few differences!

Ah, just let them new rich pump their money. They get broke and make us shareholders rich.

That is the craziest price I have ever seen for just a branded item

 By: doubleup : January 4th, 2021-17:45
I have kites I fly at the Oregon coast and for that to be that much is insane. It literally is a print on nylon with the same structure as a normal kite. Hope is a joke.  Wait until the Supreme branded LV kite comes out .. Ridiculous

For $10,400 I would rather get a real Falcon and let that bird really fly.

Nothing can surprise me anymore and most certainly not this kite

Never Forget-

These are relatively subtle compared to RM's new disco talisman watches :)

Should be called the "Doing too much" line

Interesting they went with a two-line design

For something that I assume would never fly, it seems like it would be better to go with a more traditional diamond shaped single line kite. That way it would hang flat on the wall. It's almost like it's daring you to go out and fly it. 'Stunt' kites with two lines are a great deal of fun... just don't crash this one!

If only it came with a travel clock.
