. . . but the double signature was extremely rare. It was 'Niklaus Bern', a retailer in Bern named Rudolf Niklaus. I'd never heard of Rudolf Niklaus before; he (or they) might even have specialized in Omega given the limited information I've been able to glean on the internet. There was a cal 33.3 chronograph with 'Rud Niklaus' signed on the dial that auctioned a few years ago. Other than that, there's practically no information available.
I'll remember this Omega as the one that got away at literally the last second.
