Just lost an eBay auction last night . . .

. . . in the final seconds.  Rough year, 2020 . . .

Somebody has to be the under-bidder!

. . . (sigh) . . . for every winner . . .

. . . there's gotta be at least one loser.  This loss hurt - it was an obscure co-branded Omega.  So obscure I'd never heard of the retailer before.

You always know about the really interesting and obscure references my friend.

I hope another one pops up soon.

The reference (2390) was not uncommon . . .

 By: Dr No : December 18th, 2020-10:11
. . . but the double signature was extremely rare.  It was 'Niklaus Bern', a retailer in Bern named Rudolf Niklaus.  I'd never heard of Rudolf Niklaus before; he (or they) might even have specialized in Omega given the limited information I've been able to glean on the internet.  There was a cal 33.3 chronograph with 'Rud Niklaus' signed on the dial that auctioned a few years ago.  Other than that, there's practically no information available.

I'll remember this Omega as the one that got away at literally the last second.

Tssss, Don Turo....
